No one is more representative of the Mexico rebel Pancho Villa, the rebel general of the Mexican Revolution who invaded the U.S. territory and led American soldiers in a cross-country chase all of Mexico for months. Along with Emiliano Zapata and Francisco I. Madero, Villa headed peasant army to a quick victory over the corrupt and repressive regime of dictator Porfirio Diaz, only to see Madero betrayed by reactionary plotters.
